Company Policies & Customer Order Of Events
Service | Order Of Payments | Booking Enquiries
1. All service enquries are free. Yet bookings for a wedding, portrait session or special event are only confirmed upon the receipt of a parties intial deposit.
That initial deposit shall consist of a minimum of one third of the total package cost.
2. Should more then one party be competing for an identical day or time period for thier event, the party which completes thier one third deposit first shall be the 'considered' to have successfully booked. My Toronto Weddings shall duly advise the second party of the same and advise them of the the companies 'inability' due to a confirmed deposit to complete thier booking request. Yet, My Toronto Weddings shall endeavour to accommodate all customer's requests should they (the customer) wish to move their event day to a currently 'unbooked' day via the companies calendar.
4. Cautionary Note: As a result, the initial one third booking deposit is not returned (unless due to exceptional circumstances) should the 'client' later decide afterwards to obtain the services of another photographic service. As My Toronto Weddings does not actively entertain any further booking requests and/or accepts any further deposits for that day. My Toronto Weddings shall not be held accountable for a customer's change of mind or loss of earlier confirmed and expected future revenue.
5. A sit down meeting is mandatory with all confirmed bookings. And is suggested as required for service clarification should a customer request such. This allows for both My Toronto Weddings and it's intended customers' to discuss the hopes, aspirations and photographic requirements for the 'clients' day. This meeting usually does not take more then a half hour.
6. Second Paymet: Is requested upon the day of the wedding or event. My Toronto Weddings shall humbly request this payment at the commencement of the day's event. Thus eliminating the need to approach the customer after the hieght of day's activities has begun and quite often 'unavailable' for such a request to be favourably met.
6a. Failure to provide the second payment prior to the completion of the day's event shall result in a delay of the finale processing of the photographic images captured that day. Having stated as such, once the second deposit has been favourably recieved, completion of any and all photographic images shall re-commence to a stage of completion and ultimate customer presentation.
7. Upon the completion of the customer's images, My Toronto Weddings shall arrange a meeting of both parties convienence to supply the customer with a disk of all finsihed images for ordering purposes. No payment is due at this time. All images shall be 'watermarked' for company and photographer identification across the front of the image unless otherwise/earlier negotiated.

7b. Watermark removal fee only applies to front of finale printed images and ordering disk.
8. Final Payment. Shall be requested upon delivery of the customer's prints, albums and/or additionaly agreed and invoiced items.
| Bad/Poor Weather Days |
1. My Toronto Weddings reserves the right to not photograph exterior shots on bad or poor weather days. Although every effort is made to capture exterior shots, heavy rain, snow, sleet or otherwise inclimental weather shall and will prohibit My Toronto Weddings from completing any/all exterior shots. This decision is based solely upon the descretion of My Toronto Weddings and is not emcombant upon the wishes of the event participants. This decision is primarily based on common sense as professional photographic equipment is expensive and not easily replaced.
My Toronto Weddings shall ultimately compensate by offering the customer an opporuntity for a re-shoot of any exterior shots upon the first mutually agreeably day based upon the companies current calandar availability.
It is requested that the Photographer's wishes be respected in this instance.
